Patients experiencing adequate paralysis of the target muscle that require subsequent injections should receive a dose comparable to the initial dose.

Effects may occur hours to weeks after administration. Retrobulbar hemorrhages sufficient to compromise retinal circulation have occurred following the administration of Botox for strabismus. Decompress the orbit if necessary.
